The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it. Because its only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles, wood rots, people, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.
Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make yourself a happier and more productive person.
Love isn’t finding a perfect person. It’s seeing an imperfect person perfectly.
The world itself is pregnant with failure, is the perfect manifestation of imperfection, of the consciousness of failure.
We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly
